Surya Nepal Gatha – a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative of Surya Nepal Pvt. Ltd. works to promote and preserve Nepali literature, art, culture, and archaeological heritage, and in this regard, supported the country’s biggest literature event – the Surya Nepal Gatha Nepal Literature Festival.

The literature festival that took place right by the Fewa lake from 15-19 February 2024 featured over 50 sessions with 150 speakers, musical events, exhibitions, book launches, workshops, and various other interactive activities.

The discussions at the Surya Nepal Gatha Nepal Literature Festival provided a perfect space for writers, journalists, and public figures to discuss both the burning issues of the day and timeless conundrums Nepalis wrestle with. The discourses covered a wide array of themes such as literature, society, culture, art, and governance, among others.

The festival was attended by over 17,700 people, and received highly encouraging feedback from the audience, speakers, and panelists
