SURYA NEPAL KALINGA LITERARY FESTIVAL

Surya Nepal patronized the annual Kalinga Literature Festival—one of the leading literary festivals from India—was held in Kathmandu in 2022. The event was designed to showcase Nepal's rich art history, culture, literature, spiritual traditions, and heritage on a global stage. It featured panel discussions on literature, art, culture, and history, and highlighted artistic traditions such as the concept of Shiv Tatwa and the songs of renowned poets from Nepal and India, as well as the broader realms of Nepali and Indian art and music.

SURYA NEPAL GATHA NEPAL LITERATURE FESTIVAL

Surya Nepal Gatha, a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative of Surya Nepal aims  to promote and preserve Nepali literature, art, culture, and archaeological heritage.  It has patronized the country’s biggest literature event—the Surya Nepal Gatha Nepal Literature Festival—organized by the Bookworm Foundation. The literature festival held  in Pokhara, in February  2024 featured over 50 sessions and  150 speakers, along with musical events, exhibitions, book launches, workshops and a variety of interactive activities.
